Director/PDMR Shareholding

Persimmon plc (the "Company") announces that on 24 April 2013 it was informed that on 23 and 24 April 2013 Jeff Fairburn, Chief Executive sold 57,914 ordinary shares in the Company and Mike Killoran, Finance Director sold 109,218 ordinary shares in the Company.  Both sales were at an average price of 1071.66p.

Mr Fairburn and Mr Killoran sold these shares to settle tax liabilities on the recent exercise of share options. 

As a result of these transactions, Mr Fairburn and his wife are interested in 114,597 of the Company's shares or 0.04% of the issued share capital of the Company and Mr Killoran and his wife are interested in 550,125 shares or 0.18% of the issued share capital.

The issued share capital of the Company on 25 April 2013 was 303,836,208 ordinary shares.
