Tristel plc ("Tristel" or the "Company"), the manufacturer of infection control, contamination control and hygiene products, announces that the Company was informed yesterday that on that day, a number of directors acquired, in aggregate, 2,647,521 shares of 1 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at 19.5p each from  an institutional holder. 

The shares were acquired and resultant holdings as follows:
