BOARD APPOINTMENT

Michael Roller to join as non-executive director

Filtronic plc, a designer, developer and supplier of microwave electronic subsystems for the wireless telecommunications market, announces that it has agreed to appoint Michael Roller as a non executive director. His appointment will be effective from 1st June 2013.

Michael Roller, BA (Hons), ACA was Finance Director of Corin Group PLC until June 2012. Prior to that, he held a number of financial and corporate development roles with a wide range of multinational and smaller businesses including being finance director of a number of publicly listed companies.

Mr Roller qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG.  Commenting on the appointment Howard Ford, Chairman of the Company, said:

"We are very pleased to welcome Michael to the Board and with his recent and relevant experiences as finance director of both AIM and full list companies he brings a wealth of experience to the Board."

There are no other disclosures to be made under Listing Rule 9.6.13 in respect of Michael Roller's appointment to the Board.
