The Company announces that, on 30 January 2013, it received notification from the Trustees of The British Land Share Ownership Plan (the "Trust") that, on 30 January 2013, 85,328 ordinary shares of 25 pence each in the Company granted to Stephen Smith, an Executive Director of the Company, under the Stephen Smith Co-Investment Share Plan on 31 March 2010, vested on full satisfaction of the Performance Conditions. Following the vesting Stephen Smith sold 44,500 shares at a price of £5.63 per share to offset his tax liability.

The Company also announces that, on 30 January 2013, it received notification that, on 30 January 2013, Tim Roberts, an Executive Director of the Company, transferred 6,522 shares to his wife, Sarah Roberts.
