Pre-Close Trading Update

Prior to entering its close period on 4 January 2013 and notwithstanding the ongoing challenging markets, Clarkson PLC confirms that since its Interim Management Statement announced on 7 November 2012, trading has continued in line with expectations.

Clarkson PLC will announce final results for the year ended 31 December 2012 on 7 March 2013.
