CHANGE OF REGISTRAR

As part of our commitment to improve our investor experience, I am writing to advise you that our share registrars have changed. With immediate effect, the share registers for the venture capital trusts that we manage will now be administered on our behalf by Computershare Investor Services PLC. Computershare will be responsible for sending you communications, as well as handling any queries you may have and their contact details are listed below for each of the funds.

Many shareholders want to manage their shareholding online and you can do so using Investor Centre, Computershare's secure website. By using Investor Centre, you can help the environment by minimising the need for carbon-wasteful paper communications. The Investor Centre can be found at the following web address;

Listed below are the most frequently used features of the website. All you need is your Shareholder Reference Number (SRN) to access any of these features. Your SRN can be found on paper or electronic communications that you will receive from Computershare. If your shares are held in certifi cated form this will be the same as your IVC code from Capita, but will be prefi xed with a 'C'. If you hold your shares in CREST i.e. in uncertifi cated form, the SRN will be different from your IVC code and will prefi xed with a 'G'.

• › Downloadable Forms including dividend mandates, stock transfer, dividend reinvestment scheme application forms and change of address forms.

Investor Centre also offers a free, secure, web-based share management service. Set up your own account and access your entire Computershare-managed portfolio by clicking on 'Register' on the left side of the screen. You can even choose your own ID and password to make it easy to remember.

We are working with Computershare to produce annual shareholder statements as at the end of each tax year which will show your holding, any transactions and dividends paid on your account during the tax year as well as a current valuation of your holding. In addition, we will soon be offering shareholders the option to receive shareholder communications electronically. We will be writing to shareholders with more information on this in the New Year.

You may have received more than one copy of this letter and this may be because either your name or address details on our registrars records slightly differ or you may have moved house and not updated your details. Computershare will be able to amalgamate these holdings if you write to them at the address provided above. You should provide details of the trusts where more than one holding is held and there is no need to send in your share certifi cates.

If you simply need to change your address details you can do so via Computershare's website as noted on the front page of this letter.
