Conformément à l'article 14, § 1 de la loi du 2 mai 2007 relative à la publicité des participations importantes, Umicore a récemment été informée par :
• Bank of America Corp. que sa filiale Merrill Lynch International a successivement franchi le seuil réglementaire de 3 % pour les droits de vote directs et les instruments financiers équivalents à la baisse le 16 septembre 2024, puis à la hausse le 19 septembre 2024. Le 23 septembre 2024, Bank of America Corp. (par l'intermédiaire de sa filiale Merrill Lynch International) a franchi le seuil statutaire de 3 % pour les instruments financiers équivalents à la hausse.
La participation totale en droits de vote directs et en instruments financiers équivalents de Bank of America s'élève désormais à 4,42 %.

À propos d'Umicore
Umicore est un groupe spécialisé dans la technologie des matériaux circulaires. Il se concentre sur les domaines d'application où son expertise en science des matériaux, en chimie et en métallurgie fait une réelle différence. Ses activités sont organisées en quatre groupes d'activités : Battery Materials, Catalysis, Recycling et Specialty Materials. Chaque groupe d'activités est divisé en unités commerciales axées sur le marché qui proposent des matériaux et des solutions à la pointe des nouveaux développements technologiques et essentiels à la vie quotidienne.

Les opérations industrielles et commerciales ainsi que les activités de R&D d'Umicore sont réparties dans le monde entier afin de servir au mieux sa clientèle mondiale avec environ 12 000 collaborateurs. Le Groupe a réalisé des revenus (hors métaux) de € 1,8 milliards (chiffre d'affaires de € 7,4 milliards) au cours du premier semestre 2024.
