In the proceedings aimed having the Belgian patent on "speculoospasta", held by Lotus Bakeries, to be declared invalid, a judgment was handed down by the court of first instance on 20 January 2011. The Court declared the patent to be revoked.
Lotus Bakeries will examine this judgment further with its legal advisers and decide whether or not to lodge an appeal.
