DIVIDEND ANNOUNCEMENT

The General Meeting on 3 May 2012 has decided to pay a gross dividend of EUR°0.01 for the 2011 financial year.

• EUR 0.0075 after deduction of withholding tax (hereinafter WHT) of 25% per ordinary share.
• EUR 0.0075 after deduction both of the lower rate of WHT of 21% per share with VV strip (coupon 43) and an additional level of 4% for shareholders of registered shares who have communicated their choice for supplementary levy.
• EUR 0.0079 after deduction of the lower rate of WHT of 21% per share with VV strip (coupon 43) for holders of registered shares who have not chosen to have the supplementary levy deducted.
• EUR 0.0079 after deduction of the lower rate of WHT of 21% per share with VV strip (coupon 43) for holders of bearer shares or book-entry shares. For these shares, holders can request that their financial institutions postpone deducting the supplementary levy.

The dividend is payable from 14 May 2012 (ex-coupon 09.05.2012, record date 11.05.2012) on presentation of coupon number 43 at a KBC Bank counter.
