Openbaarmaking van een transparantiekennisgeving ontvangen door KBC Groep NV

(artikel 14, eerste lid van de wet van 2 mei 2007 op de openbaarmaking van belangrijke deelnemingen)

Samenvatting van de kennisgeving

KBC Groep NV ontving een op 14 juli 2017 gedateerde transparantiekennisgeving, waaruit blijkt dat BlackRock Inc. de rapporteringsdrempel van 5% (stemrechten) neerwaarts overschreden heeft.

Inhoud van de kennisgeving

Die kennisgeving bevat de volgende informatie:

• Reden van de kennisgeving: aankoop of verkoop van (effecten met) stemrechten
• Kennisgeving door: BlackRock Inc.
• Kennisgevingsplichtige personen: zie bijlage 1
• Transactiedatum: 12 juli 2017
• Neerwaarts overschreden drempel: 5% (noteer: voor KBC Groep is de statutaire drempel voor kennisgevingen 3% van het totaal aantal stemrechten; daarboven gelden de wettelijke drempels van 5% en elk veelvoud daarvan)
