Openbaarmaking van transparantiekennisgeving(en) ontvangen door KBC Groep NV

Samenvatting van de kennisgeving(en)

KBC Groep NV ontving een op 16 oktober 2018 en op 17 oktober 2018 gedateerde transparantiekennisgeving, waaruit blijkt – als resultaat - dat BlackRock Inc. de rapporteringsdrempel van 5% ('totaal stemrechten en equivalente instrumenten') opwaarts overschreden heeft.

Inhoud van de kennisgeving(en)

Die kennisgeving(en) bevat(ten) de volgende informatie:

• Reden van de kennisgeving(en): aankoop of verkoop van effecten met stemrechten
• Kennisgeving door: BlackRock Inc.
• Kennisgevingsplichtige personen: zie bijlage
• Transactiedatum: 15 oktober 2018 en 16 oktober 2018
• Overschreden drempel: 5% opwaarts (voor 'stemrechten+equivalente financiële instrumenten') (noteer: voor KBC Groep is de statutaire drempel voor kennisgevingen 3% van het totaal aantal stemrechten; daarboven gelden de wettelijke drempels van 5% en elk veelvoud daarvan)
• Noemer (aantal aandelen KBC Groep NV): 415 897 567
• Details van de kennisgeving(en): zie bijlage. Per 16 oktober bedraagt bijgevolg het aantal KBC aandelen met stemrecht en equivalente financiële instrumenten bij BlackRock respectievelijk 5.01% en 0.06% van het totaal aantal KBC-aandelen.
