OPTION REINFORCES BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Leuven, Belgium – June 15, 2016 – Option (Euronext: OPTI; OTC: OPNVY), the company "connecting Things to the Cloud," today announced that Vermec NV, represented by Peter Cauwels will join the board of directors as an independent director with effect from July 1, 2016

Peter Cauwels (43) is managing partner and director at Vermec NV, a family investment fund for ambitious mid-sized companies, and Chairman at Eternal Sun Group, a Dutch manufacturer of solar simulators.

Vermec NV holds convertible bonds of Option published in April 2014 for an amount of EUR 1.5 million. In addition, Mr. Cauwels is active as a senior researcher, Chair of Entrepreneurial Risks, at the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zurich (ETH Zurich), a sister university of the French Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Peter Cauwels has gained financial experience as Director of BNP Paribas Fortis Global Markets between 2007 and 2011 and as a senior advisor, risk management in KBC Group from 2001 to 2006.
