Disclosure of transparency notifications

(Article 14 of the Law of 2 May 2007 on the disclosure of significant shareholdings in listed companies)

bpost discloses 2 notifications of significant shareholdings that it has received from BlackRock, Inc (and affiliates) in accordance with the Belgian Law of 2 May 2007 on the disclosure of significant shareholdings in listed companies.

1. Summary of the notifications

• In a first notification dated November 12, 2018, BlackRock, Inc., also on behalf of its subsidiaries set forth in the notification, notified that, following a transaction in bpost securities dated November 9, 2018, the holding of BlackRock, Inc. (taking into account the subsidiaries controlled by it) has been modified as follows:
• o the holding of voting rights has decreased and crossed downwards the 3% threshold;
• o the holding of equivalent financial instruments has decreased without crossing any notification threshold.

BlackRock, Inc. (taking into account the subsidiaries controlled by it) was then holding 3.08% of the voting rights of bpost.

In a second notification dated November 13, 2018, BlackRock, Inc., also on behalf of its subsidiaries set forth in the notification, notified that, following a transaction in bpost voting rights and equivalent financial instruments dated November 12, 2018, it decreased its holding and it crossed downwards the 3% threshold.

BlackRock, Inc. (taking into account the subsidiaries controlled by it) now holds 2.86% of the voting rights of bpost.

2. Threshold crossed

Threshold that is crossed: 3%

Article 13 of bpost articles of association provides the following on disclosure of significant shareholdings: "As regards the application of Title II of the Law of May, 2 2007 on the disclosure of significant shareholdings in issuers whose shares are admitted to trading on a regulated market and other provisions and the Royal Decree of February, 14 2008 on the disclosure of significant shareholdings, the applicable successive thresholds are established at 3%, 5% and any multiple of 5%."
