Banimmo completes the sale of the building Antwerp Expo

Brussels, July 1 2011 – Banimmo (NYSE Euronext BANI) has sold to Artexis Belgium, 100% of the shares of the company Bouwen & Wonen which is the owner of the building « Antwerp Expo ».

The complex develops 19,140 m² and is composed of different exhibition halls, offices and horeca area. It is located in Antwerp, on the Jan Van Rijswijcklaan, where it hosts most of the fairs of the city.

The complex has been acquired in 2007, with the intention to redevelop it along with the adjacent land. As it was unable to acquire this land and the subsoil (trefonds) of the site, Banimmo does not longer envisage to develop the site and has therefore decided to sell Bouwen & Wonen to Artexis. The latter knows the building as it conducts its activities in it since many years.

The sales price of the shares is based on an asset value of € 17.1 million. The sale generates a capital gain.

Other asset sale transactions of Banimmo's portfolio are ongoing, at different progress stages.
