Banimmo (NYSE Euronext BANI) and Marsh, acting on behalf of the subsidiaries of Marsh & McLennan in Belgium, have concluded an agreement under which Banimmo is responsible for building the future headquarters of the international insurance broker in Brussels. The building will be rented on the basis of a 15 years lease contract.
The land on which the building will be erected has been acquired recently. Located in Auderghem (Brussels), on the corner of the Herrmann-Debroux avenue and de Souverain boulevard, the building will have a total surface of approximately 6,500 sqm on 5 above ground levels. The 2 underground levels will house 69 parking spots.
The building will be easily accessible both by public transport from the underground station located at the foot of the future building, and by car through a direct access to the Ring road of Brussels via the Herrmann-Debroux viaduct.
Permits have been granted and are free of any third party claims. Works will start in the course of this year.
During the construction of the building, extra attention will be granted to the building's energy performance in order to obtain a very low consumption building. In the framework of the VALIDEO certification, Banimmo aims achieving a score equivalent to a BREEAM "very good" or "excellent".

With this new operation, Banimmo confirms its know-how in developing sustainable buildings based on the « built-to-suit » process that allows to develop new projects while limiting renting risks.
