On December 5th 2013, the Board of Directors of Banimmo SA has, based on the proposal of the Executive Committee and in the framework of the planned renewal of its direction, appointed Christian Terlinden as Chief Executive Officer as from January 1st 2014.
He succeeds in this function Didrik van Caloen who wished to relieve his implication in the company but who will continue, as Vice-President of the Board of Directors, to share his expertize in a number of important investments.
Christian Terlinden is 54 years and is Chief Financial Officer of Banimmo since 2005 and also responsible for the real estate operations in Belgium since 2012. He was previously CFO of Sapec (from 1995 till 2005) after having gained a lot of professional experience in the banking sector: at Citibank from 1984 till 1988 and at Cobepa from 1989 till 1995. He graduated from UCL in law and applied economics and has an MBA from Cornell University (USA).
The Board of Directors has also decided to progressively evolve the composition of the Executive Committee. Members of this committee will be:
As from July 1st 2014, the Executive Committee will thus be composed of Christian Terlinden (CEO), Filip De Poorter (CCOO Belgium), Olivier Durand (DG France ) and Petra Sobry (Secretary General).
Banimmo will have a management that will be younger, dynamic, experienced and motivated to continue and finalize its ongoing strategic reorganization.

Banimmo, a real estate company for repositioning and redevelopment, acquires buildings that have a high potential for redevelopment in order to re-sell them after transformation. The company is also specialized in the development of built-to-suit buildings meeting the highest sustainability and energy-efficiency norms. The company, which is active in Belgium, France and Luxembourg in the office, retail and semi-industrial sectors, as well as in conference and exhibition centres, has its headquarters in Brussels. Its subsidiary, Banimmo France, covers the French market from its headquarters in Paris. The company has 30 employees. Until now, Banimmo has invested in around 24 real estate properties representing a total value of more than € 396 million. Belgium constitutes the predominant market, with 62% of the portfolio in terms of market value, with France representing 38%. The portfolio is continually evolving thanks to the ongoing repositioning and to the high rotation of the assets. Banimmo is listed on Euronext Brussels. Currently the company is held by the SIIC Affine (49.51%) and the management (24.9%). The remainder (25.59%) is in public hands.
