Banimmo: A successful year in the rental of offices in Belgium

  • The H5 building in Da Vinci Parc, Brussels, has been entirely let to a single tenant, Electrabel
  • Renting of 872 sqm in the Alma Court building
  • Renting of 1,350 sqm in the office building located on the site in La Hulpe
  • Approximately 12,000 sqm have been leased during 2014, including 11,000 sqm in Belgium

Banimmo has signed a lease agreement for the entirety of the H5 building (3,785 sqm) in Parc Da Vinci, with Electrabel, a top-class tenant.

The lease is for 9 years and enables to stabilize the rental situation of this building.

No major works are required as the building has been refurbished recently. Take-up should occur at the end of the first half year of 2015.

Damovo, a long-standing tenant, has been relocated in the Alma Court building, another of Banimmo's buildings. This clearly demonstrates Banimmo's expertise in finding customised rental solutions.

H5 building in Evere

Banimmo has also let 872 sqm of space in Alma Court (16,042 sqm) to Tata Consultancy Services Belgium for a period of 9 years.

This company, which has had a presence in the building for several years now, has thereby doubled its rental space.

This new tenancy and the relocation of Damovo now give Alma Court an occupancy rate of 94%.

Finally, two new rentings were finalized for a total area of 1,350 sqm in the office building located on the site in La Hulpe (4,480 sqm).

Alma Court Building

Banimmo performed particularly well in 2014 on the letting side, with approximately 11,000 sqm let in Belgium, and almost 1,000 sqm in France.

The main properties that have been let are:

  • Alma Court: 3,916 sqm, increasing the occupancy rate of this property to 94% (vs 77% in December 2013)
  • H5: 3,785 sqm, increasing the occupancy rate of this property to 100% (vs 67% in December 2013)
  • Diamond: 1,131 sqm, increasing the occupancy rate of this property to 66% (vs 60% in December 2013)
  • Arts 27: 425 sqm, increasing the occupancy rate of this property to 70% (vs 59% in December 2013)
  • Office building in La Hulpe: 1,350 sqm, increasing the occupancy rate of this property to 30% (vs empty building in December 2013).
