Event to report – Litigation

In addition to the report from November 14, 2023, sent through capital market institutions, National Power Transmission Company Transelectrica informs the investing public that following the solution of the arbitration request ARB-5770 Burlacu Oleg (RO) vs. Transelectrica (RO), Vienna Arbitration Centre, through arbitral award has admitted claims of Mr. Burlacu Oleg (plaintiff) against the Company (defendant) as follows:

• o payment of the gross amount of 46,596 RON representing the variable component of the remuneration for year 2020, to which accessories are added;
• o payment of the gross amount of 89,050 representing the variable component of the remuneration for year 2021, to which accessories are added;

and has rejected the request regarding the payment of all taxes and fees related to the amounts given as variable component of the remuneration for years 2020 and 2021, on the moment of payment, by reporting to the claimed amounts. It has also rejected as groundless the request regarding the payment of the amount of 131,929 RON representing the difference of compensation related to fixed gross monthly indemnization for September 2022-September 2024, as a result of establishing the revocation without just cause by the arbitral award from 30.12.2022 in File ARB-56801 . The Company was also forced to pay its part in some arbitral costs and expenses.
