Event to report: Information on the signing of a contract with subsidiary SMART S.A.

In accordance with the Supervisory Board's approval, on August 23, 2021, of a significant transaction with a related party whose value represents more than 5% of the company's net assets according to the latest stand-alone financial statements as of June 30, 2021, National Power Grid Company Transelectrica S.A. informs the investor public that contract C266/2021 was signed with the Company for Maintenance Services to the Electricity Transmission Grid SMART S.A.
