Electrica informs its investors and shareholders that, on 19 January 2024, the Company received the Notification of major holdings from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), attached to the present report.

According to the notification, on 15 January 2024, EBRD sold 205,505 Electrica shares, dropping below the 5% threshold provided by article 71 of Law 24/2017 on issuers of financial instruments and market operations, thus reaching a holding of 4.9502% of the voting rights of Electrica calculated on the basis of all the shares to which voting rights are attached, even if for the treasury shares (6,890,593 treasury shares) the exercise thereof is suspended, according to the provisions of art. 71 (1) of Law 24/2017 on issuers of financial instruments and market operations.

The present current report is issued in accordance with the provisions of art. 74 para (6) of Law 24/2017 on issuers of financial instruments and market operations.

We hereby inform you that following a disposal of 205,505 shares in Societatea Energetica Electrica S.A. on 15 January 2024, the percentage of voting rights attached to shares held by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Societatea Energetica Electrica S.A. decreased below the 5% threshold provided by Article 71 of Law no. 24/2017 on issuers of financial instruments and market operations.	Prin prezenta notificare vă aducem la cunoștință că în urma înstrăinării a 205.505 actiuni în Societatea Energetica Electrica S.A. din data de 15 ianuarie 2024, procentul de drepturi de vot anexate acțiunilor deținute de către Banca Europeană pentru Reconstrucție și Dezvoltare în Societatea Energetica Electrica S.A. a scăzut sub pragul de 5% prevăzut de articolul 71 din Legea nr. 24/2017 privind emitenții de instrumente financiare și operațiuni de piață.
