Important event to report – appointment of provisional Directorate member

National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA informs the shareholders and investors, that the Supervisory Board decided, in accordance with its attributions according to the statutory and legal provisions, at the meeting on April 21, 2021, to appoint Mr. Ovidiu ANGHEL as a provisional Directorate member starting from April 21, 2021.

The mandate is granted for 4 months, beginning with April 21, 2021 with possible extension on solid grounds for two more months. The mandate term will not exceed the ending date of the selection procedure for Directorate members of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA according to the provisions of OUG 109/2011, if the procedure is completed within this interval.

Mr. Ovidiu ANGHEL's appointment will become effective on the signing date before the notary public of the mandate acceptance statement as member in the Directorate of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA, but not earlier than April 21, 2021.
