Important events to be reported: Contracting a financing from EIB

Patria Bank S.A. informs investors that The European Investment Bank (EIB), one of the largest multilateral financing institutions in the world and one of the largest providers of climate finance, has signed a contract with Patria Bank for granting a financing of EUR 25 million. This represents a first tranche of a total financing of EUR 50 million approved by EIB for Patria Bank within the Multiple Beneficiary Intermediated Loan (MBIL) program.

The EIB financing will be used to support the investments of eligible SME and MidCap clients in Romania, with a partial allocation to climate projects.

For Patria Bank, this financing facilitates the further growth and development of the Bank, with the ultimate goal of improving access to finance for entrepreneurs in Romania.
