In continuation of the information included in the current report disseminated on January 6, 2023, the National Power Grid Company "Transelectrica" SA informs the shareholders and interested persons regarding the fact that the arbitration request ARB-5697 of Mr. Ciprian Constantin Dumitru, former member of the Supervisory Board, revoked by GMS Decision no. 4/2021, the Vienna Arbitration Center ruled on 11.08.2023 through an Arbitration Decision, registered in the Company on 21.08.2023, according to which it admitted the request made by the claimant and obliged the Company to pay the amount of 838,728¹ lei (principal), amount to which is added legal interest, updated with the inflation rate, formed as follows:

• 605,748 lei representing the compensation related to fixed gross monthly allowances for a number of 39 months;
• 46,596 lei representing the variable component of remuneration for 2020;
• -186,384 lei representing non-compete compensation, according to art. 5.2.3 of the Mandate Contract no. C238/30.09.2020.

At the same time, through the Arbitral Award, the Arbitral Tribunal obliged NPGC "Transelectrica" S.A. to pay the claimant the sum of all costs, fees and arbitration expenses, in the amount of €16,573.30 and 178,169.89 lei (including VAT). Any other claims or requests of the Parties have been dismissed.
