Important event to report: Extending the mandates of the provisional members of the Directorate

National Power Grid Company Transelectrica S.A. informs the shareholders and investors that, in accordance with its statutory and legal attributions, the Supervisory Board decided in the meeting of March 21, 2024, with regard to the termination on 24.03.2024 of the mandates of provisional Directorate members, the following:

• according to art. III of Law no. 187/2023 on the amendment and completion of the GEO no. 109/2011 on corporate governance, the extension lasting 2 months starting from March 25, 2024 and ending on May 24, 2024, but no later than the completion of the selection procedure according to the provisions of GEO no. 109/2011 if the procedure will be completed within this interval, of the mandates of provisional members of the Directorate for the following: Ștefăniță MUNTEANU, Cătălin Constantin NADOLU, Florin Cristian TĂTARU and Bogdan TONCESCU
• in accordance with the provisions art. 23 para. (1) of the Articles of Association of National Power Grid Company Transelectrica S.A., the election of the Directorate Chairman, alternatively called General Executive Director or Chief Executive Officer - "CEO" of the National Electric Power Transport Company "Transelectrica" S.A. in the person of Mr. Ștefăniță MUNTEANU.
