Important event to report: appointment of provisional Directorate members

Taking into account the mandate of currrent Directorate members lawfully ends on June 20, 2019, the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA informs the shareholders and investors that at the June 04, 2019 reunion the Supervisory Board designated the following persons as provisional Directorate members beginning with June 21, 2019:

• Marius-Dănuț CARAȘOL
• Claudia-Gina ANASTASE
• Andreea-Georgiana FLOREA
• Alina-Elena TEODORU
• Adrian SAVU

The mandate is granted for 4 months, beginning with June 21, 2019, with possible extension on solid grounds for two more months. The mandate term will not exceed the ending date of the selection procedure for Directorate members of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA according to the provisions of OUG 109/2011, if the procedure is completed within this interval.

In accordance with the provisions of article 18 para (4) from the Articles of association of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA, the Supervisory Board elects Mr CARAȘOL Marius-Dănuț as Directorate Chairman, alternatively called Executive Director General or Chief Executive Officer – CEO – of the Company for the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA.

The appointment of Directorate members mentioned above will become effective on the signing date before the notary public of the mandate acceptance statement as member in the Directorate of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA.
