Important event to report: appointment of Directorate members

Taking into account the mandate of currrent Directorate members lawfully ends on 16 September 2017, the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA informs the shareholders and investors that at the 15 September 2017 reunion the Supervisory Board designated the following persons as provisional Directorate members beginning with 17 September 2017:

• 1. Dan Valeriu ARDELEAN
• 1. Mircea Toma MODRAN
• 1. Florin TĂTARU

The mandate is granted for 4 months with possible extension on solid grounds for two more months. The mandate term will not exceed the ending date of the selection procedure for Directorate members of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA according to the provisions of article 642 from OUG 109/2011, if the procedure is completed within this interval.

The appointment of Directorate members mentioned above will become effective on the signing date before the notary public of the mandate acceptance statement as member in the Directorate of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA.

In accordance with the provisions of article 18 para (4) from the Articles of association of the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA, the Supervisory Board elects Mrs Georgeta – Corina POPESCU as Directorate Chairperson, alternatively called Executive Director General or Chief Executive Officer – CEO – of the Company) for the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA that will hold this position beginning with the date when the capacity of Directorate member becomes effective.
