Communiqué – details on the presentation of financial statements for semester 1, 2017 and on the availability of the Half-yearly Report, Semester 1 2017

The National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA informs the interested investor public that on 16 August 2017 it will make the presentation of financial results from semester 1, 2017.

The meeting will take place in Crowne Plaza Hotel, Blvd. Poligrafiei 1, Bucharest 1, 013704, Magnolia Room on 16 August 2017, beginning with 13:00 h.

Participants registration begins at 12:30 h.

The .pdf format presentation will be available on 16 August 2017 on the Company's internet page, namely www.transelectrica.ro, section Investor Relations/Periodical Reporting/Reports/2017 Reports.

Those interested to participate at this meeting are kindly asked to confirm their attendance and/or send questions specific to Company activities during the reported period at the e-mail address relatii.investitori@transelectrica.ro by 11 August 2017, 10:00 h.

At the same time the National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA informs the investor public about its publishing the Half-yearly Report for Semester 1 2017 under the following conditions.

Content of the Report

This Report provides:

• The Company's stand-alone simplified intermediate financial statements as of and for the six months' period ended on 30 June 2017, elaborated in accordance with the International Accounting Standard 34 – "Intermediate Financial Reporting";
• The economic-financial indicators of the reporting period;
• The Company activities during the reporting period.

The following attachments are provided: stand-alone financial statements containing: the stand-alone profit and loss account, the stand-alone financial position statement, stand-alone statement of equity changes and the Notes to the stand-alone financial statements.

Audit of the financial statements

The financial statements provided in the Report have not been audited.
