Important event to report: non-acceptance of provisional member mandate - directorate

The National Power Grid Company Transelectrica SA informs the shareholders and investors that Mr Luca – Nicolae IACOBICI informed the Company on 12.06.2017 he does not accept the mandate of provisional Directorate member granted him by the Supervisory Board under Decision 43 of 29.05.2017.

Since the provisions of article 153^12 para 3 of the Company law 31/1990, with later amendments and additions, have not been complied with respect to appointing a Directorate member, on 13.06.2017 the Supervisory Board, taking notice of Mr. Luca – Nicolae IACOBICI's letter, ascertained a seat has been vacated in the Company's Directorate beginning with 01.06.2017.

The Directorate carries on the activities with the four members in office on the date of this Communiqué.
