Bergen, Norway – Hammertech AS, a subsidiary of Nordic Technology Group AS (NTG), proudly announces the successful delivery and integration of the AquaField Mud Meter into the drilling system of a new customer in the automated drilling domain in the Americas region. This collaboration demonstrates the growing adoption of Hammertech's innovative technology to enhance the safety and efficiency of drilling operations and represents an order valued at approximately 700.000 NOK.

Simplifying Mud Measurement with AquaField

The AquaField Mud Meter is a standout innovation in drilling technology, offering realtime measurement capabilities for both drilling fluids and solids. Traditional tools, including many multiphase flow meters, have struggled to provide accurate measurements of mud content, which are critical for maintaining safe and efficient drilling operations. Hammertech's technology addresses this challenge by delivering reliable insights into the flow of fluids and solids, enabling operators to make better decisions, reduce downtime, and enhance overall performance. The Hammertech AquaField Mud Meter is the first multiphase meter capable of accurately measuring mud and solids in drilling operations, making it a truly unique solution in the industry.

Growing Demand for AquaField Mud Meters

The AquaField Mud Meter delivered to this customer is the fourth unit sold to date, with expectations for significant growth in 2025. Hammertech anticipates strong demand from customers in the automated drilling domain, projecting the need for 20-30 units in the remaining part of 2025. This reflects the increasing demand for reliable, automated solutions in modern drilling operations.
