Land access agreement for Wilson River 1 well secured

Empyrean Energy plc ("Empyrean" or the "Company"), the oil and gas development company with interests in Australia, Indonesia and the United States, is pleased to advise that Chi Oil and Gas Pty Ltd ("Chi Oil"), as operator of the Wilson River 1 well has advised land access agreement work has progressed and that the required Conduct and Compensation Agreement ("CCA") with the  station lease owners has been executed.

The CCA provides for and governs the required land access to the land upon which the Wilson River 1 well will be drilled. This agreement is a necessary precursor to gaining land access in order to complete surveys that precede other pre-drill preparation works including upgrading access tracks and drill pad preparation works.

Empyrean CEO, Tom Kelly commented , "The CCA is an important milestone and provides the JV with the necessary land access before and during drilling and testing. We look forward to providing shareholders with further progress reports as we step closer to drilling the Wilson River 1 well."
