Saint-Gobain has completed in Spain the sale of Sanigrif, its plumbing, heating and sanitary distribution business, and the sale of Saniplast, its civil engineering materials distribution business.
Sanigrif comprises 12 outlets, employs 120 people, and has annual sales of around €50 million, while Saniplast comprises 20 outlets, employs 100 people, and has annual sales of around €40 million.
In 2020, the Group had also divested its distribution business in Italy, which had annual revenues of around €15 million.
These divestments are part of Saint-Gobain's continued portfolio optimization strategy in the context of its new organization to enhance the Group's growth and profitability profile.
