Rome, 29 April 2021 – The Shareholders' Meeting of Società Editoriale il Fatto S.p.A. (the "Company" or "SEIF") media content provider and publisher of several editorial and multimedial products, a company whose shares are traded on AIM Italia, a multilateral system organised and managed by Borsa Italiana S.p.A. and Euronext Growth Paris, which approved the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2020, as approved by the Board of Directors on 31 March 2021 and already disclosed to the market in accordance with the law.
The Shareholders' Meeting resolved to allocate the profit for the year of €300,925 to partially cover previous losses.
Cinzia Monteverdi, President and CEO of SEIF, stated: "Società Editoriale Il Fatto has important objectives to achieve in the next three years and many challenges to overcome. The 2020 results show that the strategy undertaken in recent years with diversification and innovation is the right path for creating value and improving market positioning".
The financial statements of the Company for the year ended 31 December 2020, together with the Reports of the Auditing Company and the Board of Statutory Auditors, are available to the public at the Company's registered office and on the website www.seif-spa.it, in the "Investor Relations" section.
The Shareholders' Meeting appointed the Board of Directors, which will remain in office for three years until approval of the financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2023, in the persons of Cinzia Monteverdi (Chairman), Layla Pavone, Lorenza Furgiuele, Antonio Padellaro and Luca D'Aprile. The Shareholders' Meeting therefore decided to resolve on the appointment of directors, thereby promoting the policy of continuity.
The Shareholders' Meeting also appointed the Board of Statutory Auditors, which will remain in office for three years until the approval of the financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2023, in the persons of Niccolò Abriani (Chairman), Antonio Castagnazzo and Valeria Fazi (Statutory Auditor), Andrea Bonechi and Monica Bigazzi (Alternate Auditors).

Following the Shareholders' Meeting, the first meeting of the Board of Directors was also held which, inter alia, assigned the operational powers for corporate management, confirming Cinzia Monteverdi as CEO and Luca d'Aprile as chief innovation officer.
SOCIETÀ EDITORIALE IL FATTO S.P.A. (SEIF) is an independent media company, founded in Rome in 2009 and led by Cinzia Monteverdi, Chairman and CEO. The company publishes several editorial and multimedia products, including Il Fatto Quotidiano, founded by Antonio Padellaro and directed by Marco Travaglio, the website ilfattoquotidiano.it and the monthly magazine FQ Millennium, directed by Peter Gomez, the publishing company Paper First and the TV and multimedia content platform Loft.
