CIS renews two major contracts in Mauritania and Chad for a total order value of US \$91 million

The CIS Group, a global specialist in remote site management for leading customers in the energy, mining and major infrastructure sectors, announces the renewal of two contracts in sub-Saharan Africa worth a total of \$91 million.

Awarded following two international invitations to tender, these renewals demonstrate the unwavering confidence and satisfaction of CIS customers in the services provided by the Group, whose know-how is based on 33 years of experience worldwide.

In Mauritania, renewal of a strategic three-year contract for Tasiast Mauritania Limited, S.A. (TMLSA), a subsidiary of the Canadian mining Group Kinross Gold Corporation, which also operates in the United States, Canada, Brazil and Chile.

In Mauritania, the Kinross Group operates one of the largest open-pit gold mines in sub-Saharan Africa.

CIS has been providing for the last 13 years with unfailing support.

This renewal concerns an operation where CIS provides daily catering, accommodation and facility management services for 3,000 residents, in a very isolated and desert area of Mauritania.

In addition, CIS has established a partnership with the Mauritanian hotel school, and is involved in the local economy, notably by accelerating employment opportunity and training.

Our Mauritanian subsidiary has set up a rigorous process to ensure compliance with quality, health, safety and environmental standards, and has obtained ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certifications.

In Chad, CIS has operated mainly for the Exxon Mobil Group for 20 years, has renewed its contract with the French oil Group Perenco, the second largest French Group operating in the energy sector in 14 countries.

CIS provides daily catering and housekeeping services at the remote Mangala site in eastern Chad for almost 300 residents.
