PSI Group ASA : New agreement on Pricer deliveries to a grocery chain

PSI Group ASA's business area Retail Solutions has signed a framework agreement

for the delivery, installation and service of Pricer's electronic shelf labels

to a grocery chain in Norway. The deliveries could start in the 2nd quarter.

Retail Solutions is the largest supplier and systems integrator of retail

technology to the retail sector, convenience stores and specialist stores in the

Nordic.

Pricer's technology enables, through an IR based wireless infrastructure, all

paper-based price labels on retailers' shelves to be replaced by small

electronic chips. These small computer screens / pieces, at the size of a paper-

based price label, automatically obtains price information from the same

database that is used when goods are scanned at checkout.

There will therefore never occur a difference between the prices on the shelves

and prices scanned at the checkout point. Furthermore, prices can change on one

or more items, in one or more stores or at all the chain's stores, with one

keystroke.
