March 26, 2014, Oslo, Norway - Petroleum Geo-

Services ASA ("PGS" or the "Company")(OSE and NYSE;

PGS) announces that PGS purchased today 180.996 own

shares in the open market at an average price of NOK

69,2498 per share. Following the transaction PGS holds

a total of 2.830.000 own shares. The shares are

purchased to be used in PGS' share based incentive

programs.
