Nordic Semiconductor CFO resigns to accept another position
Chief Financial Officer Robert Giori has resigned from
Nordic Semiconductor to accept another position. He
will continue as Group CFO until August. Nordic
Semiconductor has started a recruitment process to
take over his role in the company.
Robert has accepted a position as CFO of Atea ASA, an
IT solutions provider listed on the Oslo Stock
Exchange with NOK 22 billion in revenue (USD 3.7
billion) and 6500 employees.
"I am tremendously grateful to the entire Nordic
organization for five wonderful years as CFO. Our
company has grown dramatically and transformed into
the market leader in Bluetooth Smart technology during
this time. The market for Bluetooth Smart and
embedded wireless technologies is just at the start of
a major growth phase -- and Nordic is extremely well
positioned for success in this market with its
pioneering technology and highly skilled team. I am
sad to leave my colleagues at Nordic, but at this
stage in my CFO career, I was interested in the
challenge of managing a larger organization,"
commented Robert Giori.
"The Board and Management of Nordic Semiconductor
would like to thank Robert for his contribution during
five years as Chief Financial Officer. Robert has
helped our company immensely as it has grown. We wish
him well in his new position, and will continue to
work closely with Robert to ensure a smooth transition
for his responsibilities," commented CEO Svenn-Tore
Larsen.
