Rights Issue resolved by the General Meeting

An Extraordinary General Meeting of the shareholders of Det norske

oljeselskap ASA (the "Company") was held today, 3 July 2014 at 17:00

hours (CET).

The Extraordinary General Meeting resolved the proposed rights issue

(the "Rights Issue") of new shares in the Company as announced on 2 June

2014. Please find attached the minutes of the Extraordinary General

Meeting.

The further terms and conditions for the Rights Issue will be determined

by the Board of Directors of the Company and detailed in a prospectus to

be published following approval of such prospectus by the Norwegian

Financial Supervisory Authority, expected to be in mid-July.
