Appointment of New Non-Executive Director

The North American Income Trust plc is pleased to announce, that following a thorough search and selection process, Ms Bulbul Barrett will be appointed as a non-executive director to the Board in April 2025.  She will also serve as a member of the Company's Audit, Nomination and Management Engagement Committees.

Ms Barrett was formerly Chief Executive Officer of DBS Vickers Securities, the wholly owned UK subsidiary of DBS Bank in Singapore, a leading Asian bank, named the World's Best Bank and Best Digital Bank for five consecutive years. She has many years of board-level commercial experience in the banking, broking and digital sectors.

Charles Park, Chairman of The North American Income Trust plc, said, "The Directors and I are delighted to welcome Bulbul to the Board. She brings strong commercial experience, an excellent understanding of digital marketing, and knowledge of the investment trust sector. The diversity of her experience in both executive and non-executive roles will enhance the Board."

Ms Barrett is currently a non-executive of the Global Smaller Companies Trust, and has a number of private appointments.
