Klaveness concludes contract with Alcoa of Australia Limited

Oslo, 9 December 2014 - Torvald Klaveness, through

its subsidiary Cabu Chartering AS, is in the process

of concluding a new long term contract with Alcoa of

Australia Limited for the transportation of caustic

soda from the Middle East Gulf and the Far East to

Australia on its Cabu fleet. The contract is a

continuation of the good working relations with

Alcoa and the contract will contribute positively to

the Cabu fleet's performance going forward.

Klaveness currently owns six Cabu vessels trading in

the Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. A Cabu

vessel is a combination carrier which can carry both

caustic soda solution and dry bulk products.
