Selvaag Bolig ASA - Best-ever quarterly sales for Selvaag Bolig

Selvaag Bolig ASA sold 308 homes with a combined value of NOK 1 021 million in

the first quarter of 2015. That represented the best-ever quarter in the

company's history. The corresponding figures for the first quarter of 2014 were

139 and NOK 482 million.

"Housing sales were exceptionally good in the first quarter. Generally speaking,

very few homes were on offer while demand was very heavy. That was particularly

the case in Greater Oslo, where we have a substantial market position with many

homes up for sale," says CEO Baard Schumann.

"During the quarter, we also strengthened our land bank in the Oslo area even

further."

Selvaag Bolig started construction on 284 homes during the quarter. A total of

208 units were completed, and 224 were delivered to the buyer. At 31 March, the

company had 1 384 homes under construction and 40 unsold units which had been

completed. That compares with 1 308 homes under construction at 31 December

2014 and 1474 at 31 March 2014.
