Protector Insurance: 22% growth in 2016

Protector Forsikring ASA, 22% growth in 2016

The January 1st renewal date is significant for

Protector Forsikring, therefore we issue a volume

statement to the market.

The Company experiences its best year ever January 1st

renewal and expects Gross Written Premiums to increase

22% over full year 2016, including a positive currency

effect.

Norwegian business areas will be contributing with a

low single digit growth. UK volumes will, as earlier

communicated, only be at a limited level. Sweden and

Denmark will have an accumulated growth around 50% in

Net written premiums are expected to grow more than

gross, because of a changed reinsurance mix.

The Company also experienced a strong premium growth

in Q4 2015. Gross premiums written amounted to NOK 325

million, up 15% compared with Q4 2014.

Gross written premiums in 2015 were NOK 2.843 million,

up 20% compared to 2014.

Further and more detailed guiding will be given on

February 12th together with the preliminary annual

result figures for 2015.
