Revenues for the second quarter of 2016
Lier, 8 July 2016: Kid ASA today announces unaudited revenue
figures for the second quarter of 2016 (previous year in
brackets). For definition of like-for-like stores please see
latest quarterly report at http://investor.kid.no.
- Q2 revenues increased by +12.6% to NOK 265.5 million (NOK
235.8 million). Like-for-like sales increased by +8.1%.
Online sales increased by +65.7%. Revenues were positively
affected by the timing of the Easter holiday in Q2 last
year, whereas Easter was in Q1 this year. The number of
shopping days in the quarter was 75 (72).
- For the first two quarters of 2016, revenues increased by
+6.1% to NOK 496.0 million (NOK 467.7 million). Like-for-
like sales increased by +1.8%. Online sales increased by
+47.3%. The number of shopping days for the first two
quarters was 149 (148).
- Going forward, Kid ASA will change the definition of like-
for-like sales by including online sales. Like-for-like
sales including online sales were -3.8% in the first
quarter, +8.9% in the second quarter, and +2.6% for the
first two quarters of 2016.
- There were two store openings during the second quarter.
