Det norske oljeselskap ASA: Scheduled closing of BP Norge transaction; Change of company name and ticker
Reference is made to previous stock exchange notices by Det norske oljeselskap
ASA (the "Company") regarding the acquisition of BP Norge AS (the
"Transaction").
The closing of the Transaction is scheduled to take place today, 30 September
On the closing date, the Company will change its name to Aker BP ASA and
register this with the Norwegian Register of Business Enterprises (Nw.
Foretaksregisteret).
Pursuant to the above, the Company's shares will from and including 3 October
2016, trade under the new name Aker BP ASA and the new ticker symbol "AKERBP" on
Oslo Børs. The Company's ISIN NO0010345853 will remain unchanged.
