SalMar - Chair Bjørn Flatgård does not seek re-election

Bjørn Flatgård has notified SalMar ASA's Nomination Committee that he does not

wish to seek re-election at the company's forthcoming AGM.

Mr Flatgård has been a member of SalMar's board for 15 years, of which 11 years

as chair.

Commenting on his decision, Mr Flatgård said: "After many fantastic years, in

which the company has made phenomenal progress, the time is right to pass the

baton into new hands."
