Siemens renews and expands payroll agreement with Zalaris

Zalaris ASA has signed a five-year renewal with the industrial

champion Siemens for its Swedish operations. The agreement extends

the value creating partnership over the past 12 years.

Zalaris' first contract with a Siemens entity was signed in January

2005 with Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery. Now, the industry

champion renews and expands the payroll BPO agreement with Zalaris,

extending the already 12 yearlong partnership.

renewing for a new term and using the opportunity for further

relationship expansion supporting standardization, GDPR compliance,

cost reduction and improved capability to provide first class

payroll and transactional HR services to its employees", says Hans-

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in EU increases

requirements for businesses to handle and store personal data

properly. Today, this is one of the top priorities among businesses.

In the cloud

Siemens will utilize a cloud-based multi-client solution from

Zalaris to deliver HR and payroll services to approximately 5 000

employees in Siemens' operations in Sweden.

The agreement is now extended to comprise of all Siemens entities in

Sweden consolidated to one common Solution powered by Zalaris SAP

HCM payroll cloud and mobile solution powered infrastructure.

This adds around 3 000 employees compared to the current agreement.

In total Zalaris now delivers HR and payroll services to more than

200 000 employees in Europe.
