Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

Oslo, April 24, 2017 / Songa Bulk AS (Merkur: SBULK-ME)

(the "Company" or "Songa Bulk") is pleased to announce that

has appointed Mr. Thomas Rønningen as Chief Financial Officer of

Songa Bulk AS.

Mr Rønningen has worked as a Financial Controller for Arne Blystad

AS since 2013. He will still be employed by Arne Blystad AS, but

will dedicate 75 % of his time for Songa Bulk.

From 2007 - 2013 he worked for Deloitte Norway in their offices in

Oslo as an auditor, which included 1.5 years as an Audit Manager. He

holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the Norwegian

School of Economics as well as being a Norwegian State Authorized

Auditor. Mr Rønningen is a Norwegian Citizen and resides in Asker,

Norway.
