Statkraft selects Zalaris to deliver HR and payroll services for global activities

Zalaris ASA has signed a five-year contract with Statkraft, the

Norwegian state-owned energy champion. The agreement, referred to in

Zalaris' Q1 report, now includes operations for more than 3 000

employees globally.

Statkraft, Europe's largest generator of renewable energy, has

chosen Zalaris to deliver a wide range of transactional HR services,

including payroll services, to their approx. 3 000 employees

globally. 2 300 employees in Norway, Sweden, UK and Germany will

receive full BPO services (business process outsourcing), including

payroll and localization of global scope.

"Zalaris expands with this its footprint into new geographies such

as Germany and UK. Statkraft is another customer giving Zalaris the

trust supporting not only their local needs, but also their global

business requirements", says Hans-Petter Mellerud, CEO and founder

of Zalaris.

Global scope

The global scope includes all Statkraft's locations across Europe,

South America, and Asia - including their strategic geographies such

as Brazil, Chile and Turkey.

The parties have agreed to a five-year contract of which the first

phase of the delivery is set to November 2017 and onwards up to June

Zalaris announced in March its strategic expansion into Germany

through the opening of its first German office. The company now has

ability to deliver HR services all over the Northern Europe,

including the German speaking parts of the region.

Public exposure

Late 2016, the Norwegian Railways (NSB) separated some of its

subsidiaries in conjunction with reforms in progress, and chose

Zalaris to deliver HR and payroll services to its employees.

Statkraft is another large state-owned company selecting Zalaris as

its preferred partner.
