SSG: Acquisition of new property in Tromsø, Norway

(Oslo, 14 December 2017) Self Storage Group ASA (Self Storage Group, OSE:SSG) has entered into an agreement to acquire Skattøravegen 19 A&B in Tromsø, Norway. The property has a potential lettable area of 1200 square meters, as well as an additional development potential. The transaction has a property value of NOK 14 million and will be operated under the OK Minilager brand.

The acquisition of Skattøravegen 19 A&B is in line with our strategy to grow our freehold portfolio in selected markets. There is an untapped potential for self storage in Norway, as urbanization and smaller living spaces cause increasing need for external storage solutions. We are looking forward to develop this property under the OK Minilager brand," says Fabian Søbak, Chief Executive Officer of Self Storage Group.

Skattøravegen 19 A&B is the Group's first facility in Tromsø, Norway`s 8th largest city. The property is located on Tromsøya, just north of Tromsø City Centre. The facility will be operational during the 2nd quarter of 2018. The transaction is expected to be closed during the the 4th quarter of 2017
