Awarded contract for hydrogen fueling station by SSAB EMEA AB in Sweden
(Oslo, 6th of February 2018) Nel Hydrogen Solutions, a division of Nel ASA (Nel,
OSE:NEL), has signed a contract for a H2Station® fueling solution for SSAB EMEA
AB in Sweden. The H2Station® will be used for fueling very large forklifts.
"We are very pleased to sign this agreement with SSAB EMEA in Oxelösund, an
important strategic customer within the global steel industry. We see this as
the first step in implementing hydrogen into the steel industry, starting with
plant internal transportation" Says Jacob Krogsgaard SVP Nel Hydrogen Solutions.
The H2Station® will be installed at SSABs site in Oxelösund, Sweden, where it
will serve large forklift at the local SSAB production facility. The H2Station®
will be delivered already during first quarter of 2018. The sale will be
structures in a leasing arrangement and the parties have agreed not to disclose
the detailed contract value and other terms.
