Director Resignation

African Petroleum announces the resignation of Non-Executive Director Mr Anthony Wilson with effect from today due to health reasons.

It is not the intention of the Board to seek a replacement Non-Executive Director at this stage, and accordingly the Board is now comprised of five Directors:

David King, Non-Executive Chairman Jens Pace, Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Stephen West, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director Bjarne Moe, Non-Executive Director Timothy Turner, Non-Executive Director

Commenting on today's announcement, David King, Chairman of African Petroleum said:

"On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Anthony Wilson for his valuable contributions towards the Company over the life of the Company to date. We sincerely wish Anthony and his family all the best during this difficult time."
